With the 2017 season now completed, it’s time to start focusing on the 2018 season and I think it’s obvious there’ll be some changes to the roster of the Cleveland Browns with free agency, trades and the draft.
I’m going to break down each position group, player by player based on the current roster that’s on the Browns official website and whether they should stay or go this offseason.
If I put go next to a player, it means I think he’ll be leaving or that his spot could be upgraded by someone else.
Of course they just signed eight players to future/reserve contracts and I’m going to keep those players out of this. Those players are:
- WR C.J. Board
- LB Austin Calitro
- DB Trevon Hartfield
- WR Bug Howard
- RB Josh Rounds
- OL Victor Salako
- DB B.W. Webb
- WR Kasen Williams

Out of the 66 players I listed out, 30 players’ spots on the roster I believe are in jeopardy from this point on January 4 all the way to the end of training camp.
With the resources we have on the table this offseason between the $100 million plus in cap space as well as the draft capital, the roster could and should be significantly upgraded.
