Jack McCurry’s 2017 NFL Mock Draft 4.0

Draft Day is finally here.

And here is my final mock draft, this time including twoprojected trades

  1. Cleveland Browns: DE Myles Garrett, Texas A&M-NO MATTER WHAT
  2. San Francisco 49ers: S Jamal Adams, LSU-Best defensive back in the draft
  3. Chicago Bears: DE Solomon Thomas, Stanford-Bears get their defensive stud
  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: QB Deshaun Watson, Clemson-the Blake Bortles era is over
  5. Cleveland Browns (via Tennessee Titans via LA Rams): S Malik Hooker, Ohio State-Browns move up to get the next Ed Reed
  6. New York Jets: CB Marshon Lattimore, Ohio State-no quarterback so rebuild the secondary
  7. Los Angeles Chargers: WR Corey Davis, Western Michigan-Phillip Rivers gets a big time play maker at WR
  8. Carolina Panthers: RB Christian McCaffery, Stanford-Cam Newton gets a major offensive weapon
  9. Cincinnati Bengals: DE Jonathan Allen, Alabama-top five talent but questions about his shoulders hang over him
  10. Buffalo Bills: TE OJ Howard, Alabama-one of the safest picks in the draft
  11. New Orleans Saints: DE Derek Barnett, Tennessee-Saints need some defensive help in a major way
  12. Tennessee Titans (via Cleveland Browns via Philadelphia): WR Mike Williams, Clemson-Titans move back and get a big weapon for Mariota
  13. Arizona Cardinals: QB Patrick Mahomes II, Texas Tech-The heir to Carson Palmer has been found
  14. Philadelphia Eagles: WR John Ross, Washington-this guy can literally fly like an eagle with his 4.2 speed
  15. Indianapolis Colts: CB Marlon Humphrey, Alabama-Colts need defensive help everywhere
  16. Baltimore Ravens: LB Reuben Foster, Alabama-their GM has a track record of drafting Alabama prospects
  17. Washington Redskins: DE Takkarist McKinley, UCLA-has been injured during the process but watch the tape and you see his ability as a pass rusher
  18. Tennessee Titans: CB Adoree Jackson, USC-Dick LaBeau continues to reshape that defense
  19. Tampa Bay BuccaneersRB Leonard Fournette, LSU-best running back in the draft finally comes off the board
  20. Cleveland Browns via Denver Broncos: QB Mitch Trubisky, North Carolina-Mitch takes a fall and winds up home in the Orange and Brown
  21. Detroit Lions: OLB Charles Harris, Missouri-lot of buzz surrounding this pass rusher
  22. Miami Dolphins: DE Taco Charlton, Michigan-another pass rusher off the board
  23. New York Giants: OT Cam Robinson, Alabama-Eli Manning has a few years left, beef up the line to protect him
  24. Oakland Raiders: LB Haason Reddick, Temple-very versatile playmaker on defense, would be nasty teaming up with Khalil Mack
  25. Houston Texans: QB Davis Webb, Cal-Bill O’Brien gets his final shot at quarterback
  26. Seattle Seahawks: OT Garrett Bolles, Utah-not a great offensive line class yet three will be first round picks
  27. Kansas City Chiefs: LB Jarred Davis, Florida-Andy Reid gets an athletic freak on defense
  28. Dallas Cowboys: CB Kevin King, Washington-Dallas lost most of their secondary in the offseason
  29. Green Bay Packers: OLB TJ Watt, Wisconsin-JJ’s brother stays home and lines up opposite Clay Matthews
  30. Pittsburgh Steelers: TE David Njoku, Miami (FL)-I hate seeing Pittsburgh getting offensive weapons but it’d be hard to pass him up
  31. Atlanta Falcons: OG Forrest Lamp, Western Kentucky-Another solid offensive lineman to protect Matt Ryan
  32. New Orleans Saints: CB Quincy Wilson, Florida-the eighth defensive back off the board.
