Jack McCurry’s Mock Draft 3.0

Draft Week is finally here.

After months of all-star games, combines, pro days, private workouts and a lot of speculation, the 2017 NFL Draft is only three days away.

As of now, this will be my final mock draft unless a trade that shakes up the draft happens then I’ll do another on Thursday morning.

  1. Cleveland Browns: DE Myles Garrett, Texas A&M-despite the QB noise, Cleveland takes best player available
  2. San Francisco 49ers: DE Solomon Thomas, Stanford-John Lynch looks to bolster the defense
  3. Chicago Bears: QB Deshaun Watson, Clemson-signing Mike Glennon in free agency shouldn’t steer them from finding their franchise QB
  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: RB Leonard Fournette, LSU-Tom Coughlin’s teams have always had a power runner, he gets another here
  5. Tennessee Titans (via LA Rams): S Jamal Adams, LSU-Tennessee gets the best defensive back in the draft
  6. New York Jets: CB Marshon Lattimore, Ohio State-Jets look to officially move on from the Revis era
  7. Los Angeles Chargers: S Malik Hooker, Ohio State-Drafting a Buckeye worked out for them last year
  8. Carolina Panthers: RB Christian McCaffery, Stanford-The dynamic playmaker joins Cam Newton in the backfield
  9. Cincinnati Bengals: DE Jonathan Allen, Alabama-A top five talent slides due to potential shoulder problems
  10. Buffalo Bills: QB Mitchell Trubisky, North Carolina-Front office isn’t a Tyrod fan, they find his replacement
  11. New Orleans Saints: CB Gareon Conley, Ohio State-New Orleans drafts another Buckeye
  12. Cleveland Browns (via Philadelphia) : QB Patrick Mahomes II, Texas Tech-best arm I’ve seen since Brett Favre
  13. Arizona Cardinals: QB DeShone Kizer, Notre Dame-Bruce Arians tabs Kizer as the heir to Carson Palmer
  14. Philadelphia Eagles (via Minnesota): WR Mike Williams, Clemson-Philly gets Carson Wentz another weapon
  15. Indianapolis Colts: DE Derek Barnett, Tennessee-Colts could go offensive line but needs defense bad
  16. Baltimore Ravens: DE Takkarist McKinley, UCLA-Baltimore continues to try and build an elite defense once again
  17. Washington Redskins: S/LB/RB Jabrill Peppers, Michigan-still unsure what position he’ll play at the next level
  18. Tennessee Titans: WR Corey Davis, Western Michigan-Tennessee gives Mariota a huge weapon
  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: LB Haason Reddick, Temple-Tampa gets a very versatile playmaker on defense
  20. Denver Broncos: OT Ryan Ramczyk, Wisconsin-Denver looks to upgrade the offensive line for whomever their quarterback will be
  21. Detroit Lions: TE David Njoku, Miami (FL)-This pick could move Eric Ebron to wide receiver permanently
  22. Miami Dolphins: OT Cam Robinson, Alabama-Dolphins go offensive line in the first round again
  23. New York Giants: TE Evan Engram, Mississippi-Eli Manning gets another playmaker on offense
  24. Oakland Raiders: RB Dalvin Cook, Florida State-This could change if Marshawn Lynch agrees to a contract
  25. Houston Texans: QB Davis Webb, Cal-Bill O’Brien tries once again to find a quarterback
  26. Seattle Seahawks: CB Kevin King, Washington-The Legion of Boom gets a new member
  27. Kansas City Chiefs: CB Adoree Jackson, USC-No QB so KC goes D
  28. Dallas Cowboys: CB Tre’Davious White, LSU-We’re going on a corner run
  29. Green Bay Packers: CB Marlon Humphrey, Alabama-Green Bay’s secondary cost them a Super Bowl appearance
  30. Pittsburgh Steelers: DE Charles Harris, Missouri-A lot of buzz about this pass rusher
  31. Atlanta Falcons: LB TJ Watt, Wisconsin-Some have said he could be better than his brother, now that’s a scary thought
  32. New Orleans Saints (from New England): LB Jarrad Davis, Florida-This pick could be going back to New England by draft day.
  33. Cleveland Browns: S Budda Baker, Washington-Browns upgrade their secondary
