The Browns released safety Calvin Pryor on Thursday following a fight with a teammate.
According to reports, Pryor fought with wide receiver Ricardo Louis prior to Thursday’s practice.
Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com has reported that sources told her head coach Hue Jackson told Pryor to walk away from the situation but Pryor refused the coach’s orders.
Pryor was acquired from the New York Jets during the offseason for linebacker DeMario Davis but was a backup to Derrick Kindred on the depth chart at the time of his release. He had 6 tackles and 0.5 sacks during the preseason.
The team will sign undrafted rookie Kai Nacua off the practice squad and put him on the active roster.
