It’s Draft Week and it’s as good of a time as ever to dive back into the past of the Cleveland Browns and their previous selections at each of the 2024 picks the team currently holds (54, 85, 156, 206, 227, 243).

The Browns have had the 206th pick in the draft just one time in franchise history.

2000: Brad Bedell, Offensive Tackle, Colorado

Bedell was one of the two sixth-round picks Cleveland made in the 2000 NFL Draft along with quarterback Spergon Wynn. The offensive lineman appeared in 12 games in his rookie season and 15 games in the 2001 season including four starts. After his time with the Browns, Bedell bounced around the league with Washington, Miami, Green Bay, and Houston before retiring after the 2006 season.

After his playing career, Bedell has been an assistant coach in the college ranks and was most recently Auburn’s tight ends coach in 2022.
